Income

Godlings have a tendency to just come across examples of the material with which they are infused. Each week you'll gain a basic resource of the same type as your material.

In addition, you will receive one other random income each week. This will usually be a random basic resource, but you may also be offered to instead receive a different income, such as a rumour, an unusual item or a dubiously acquired item. You can always decline and instead take a random basic resource.
