Does the god who made you limit what you're made of? I.e. Hel only makes Darkness godlings?
No. It's intended design that your god and material can differ, and it's a good way to justify a contradictory character. Like a godling of Idun wanting to be peaceful, but they were made with Fire or Iron so they keep going off on one.
I have something I want to do, and really need to talk to "X" about it
You can submit messages for the Ravens to take, but they will need cake. You can also leave a message for Ratatoskr to take, which he will do for free. If you send a message without cake it will usually get there, but there's no guarantee of how long until, or whether, you get a response. If you submit a message with cake you are guaranteed a response, at the latest early in the next interactive.
I'm pretty sure someone is a lokiling! What can I do about them?
Odin and Freyja have the power to eject godlings from the meetings, provided you can convince them. Creating a godling is a very difficult task though, so the standard of proof will be high, and Odin and Freyja will likely insist on at least some chance for them to reform before consenting to an execution.
I just got told Would You Kindly Feel Fear, but I'm very brave! It wouldn't be in character for me to be afraid!
Unfortunately the call Would You Kindly indicates a supernatural effect, so a similarly supernatural effect is needed to resist it, such casting a rune of resistance. You can decide how you respond to roleplaying effects, but you must roleplay a reaction to them, you can't just push through on willpower alone.
I see this is a viking age setting. Can I play a sexist character in it?
No. Norse Angels is a fantasy setting, not a historical one. Discrimination based on sex and most other kinds of historical oppression are forbidden by our out-of-character policies.
I see this is a viking age setting. Can I play a gay or transgender character in it?
Yes. Norse Angels is a fantasy setting, not a historical one. Discrimination based on sexuality or gender and most other kinds of historical oppression are forbidden by our out-of-character policies.
Does print exist in the setting?
Print does not exist in the setting, but word processed documents are acceptable if you make some effort to make them look hand-written. Many fonts are available to do this.
